   You are probably wondering why Gabriele Vintage's staff has all of a sudden turn into vintage fashion icons, aren't you ? Let me tell you the truth, the truth about life in general, by quoting a woman that has always been a great source of inspiration to me, namely Pocahontas: "we are all connected to each other, In a circle, in a hoop that never ends". The main information to pic here is "it's all connected". The initial question being "why are they all dressed up for a photoshooting?" and my clue being "it's all connected", if you do the mix on your own and look right at the next post you will find ... THE DEFILÉ FOR RADIO MODERN! yes !
  We are so caring that we made you a foretaste of what you will see at the party, and as you can see from the result, it was pretty funny to fool around in vintage clothing. Ans since everything is connected, there's no reason it shouldn't be as funny at the party on the 17th.

We've been a bit out of the picture, but we're coming back with some great news for you! Here it comes : on March the 17th you HAVE to save the date, and book your tickets for Brussels now if it's not done! Why? Really, you know me, if I tell you so, you should trust me blindly without any doubt or questions. But I'm going to tease you a bit. So here's what I say:

Radio Modern invites you all to rock(or should I say swing) the place at La Tentation on Saturday the 17th. There will be blood mucha fiesta, musik by Slick Nick & The Casino Special, good mood aaaaaand A VINTAGE FASHION SHOW exclusevely with Gabriele! Isn't it wonderfull? I know. Told you so.

Hi there,

Hope your first impressions of this new year were as good as ours, because we noticed that we got a lot of compliments lately. First Gabriele was sacred "Mother of all Vintage Shops" and a few days later the boutique is compared to the costume department of a movie set. Well, well, we might be on the right path to become true legends of the Brusseler Vintage scene hum hum, aren't we? But only with your help, so if you see or write more lovely articles, let us know (and don't be shy, rememeber you're making history ;)) !

Don Pasquale

What has Donizetti's opera (yes, this post is not about the wine, sorry) and Gabriele Vintage in common ? I'll give you some clues. It's a man. He's french. He made his first step in fashion at Jean Patou. He's know working among others for the theater. And he seemed really inspired by our collection of 50's casuals and shirts. An idea ?

Yes, of course, I'm talking about Christian Lacroix !

Music, Lili, and the Stollen

Here they are, the Laptop Cats, dismissing Lili from her favorite place (yes, you know her, Lili is our laziest mannequin,  she lays there like the one and only queen and waits for some gentlemen to fulfil her wishes, but let's get back to our Jazzy Sunday). You missed quite a thing if you couldn't make it all the way to 27, rue des Chartreux! First, the band composed by Garance, Robin, Simon, Miko and Thanas, charming and groovy as always. Secondly, the atmosphere of course! It was like entering a warm and timeless place where all the troubles were just left at the door, in order to enjoy the familiar sound of cool music and christmas laughter (sigh). And last but not least, the "mini Stollen" you could find nearly everywhere, no doubt they were the subtil touch that made the difference. Clearly the stars of the day, to the disadvantage of Lili. But as we see, she did find some followers anyway ;)

Jazzy Sunday

Here we are again! Promoting as usual fresh newcomers! So this time, we are proud to present you a young jazz band, the Laptop Cats. They will play at the boutique this Sunday (the 11th), revisiting some Jazz standards. I'm sure you don't want to miss this old timer atmosphere... Imagine, you, great jazz classics and vintage everywhere. Nothing can go wrong. It has something of a time travel, hasn't it ? Sounds like a great experience to me! 

Just be there, and let yourself be inspired, we carry the rest.
