PIECE DE LA SEMAINE

Hello folks,

Here is a new piece for this week. The text is in french, it will be soon translated in English, don't worry:

" Voici une combinaison d’une jupe années 50 en coton amidonné, le fond est couleur "terre de sienne brûlée" avec des pois blanc. Elle est froncée en plusieurs endroits et s'arrête aux mollets.
La blouse en coton blanc est classique mais bien cintrée, à petit col, années 50 aussi.
La jupe est tenue par un joli jupon en tulle. La ceinture en skaï brun, avec la boucle ronde termine notre silhouette.

Pour la photo, nous avons fermé les boutons de la blouse jusqu’en haut, c’est souvent comme ça que ça se portait. Laissez-la un peu ouverte, échangez la ceinture contre une autre plus actuelle (noire peut-être) et la silhouette deviendra beaucoup plus contemporaine. Ce qui me plais ici, c’est la fraîcheur et le charme, qui fonctionne aujourd’hui tout aussi bien que jadis." Gabriele

Welcome to our new chronique: La pièce de la semaine.

The idea is to put every week a special clothing in the spotlight, because it fits to the weather, the season, to fashion, or simply because we find it beautiful.

Here is the first piece:

It is a nice dress with the perfect colour to brighten these gloomy days we have in Brussels. It is made by different layers of synthetic fiber veils. It has a fit and slightly flared cut typical for the 50's. And last but not least: the amazing hang in the back!
